People's Choice is a social dance club for couples, single women and select single men in an alternative lifestyle. Off-premise dances are held at a local hall once a month. BYOB is the norm. Party fees are $25 per couple or singles. Doors are open at 7pm and the dances starts at 8pm to midnight. There's a "Rap Session" on Friday before the dance at 7:30, it gives the Club the chance to welcome new members and discuss changes that need to be made to the club.
To become a welcome participant of the club, you have to be courteous, friendly, respond to all invitations, never arrive empty handed, go prepared, observe cleanliness, respect others' feelings, not to be pushy, doing what is fun for you, know how and why to say no, avoid alcohol and drugs, practice safe sex, say thanks, be a good host, answer the ads and enjoy yourself.
